Have you ever felt uncomfortable with your clumsy processing of your personal computer or your portable notebook that have normally had pleasant speed? If so, you have faced the basic problem similar to other users around the computer-based world.
This problem can be described by that comparing with normal uses, the computers then process slower in most functions. For instance, after using for a while, the computer stuck at one webpage for a long time. Or, the computer processed the function "Copy" by taking longer time than it has ever. This problem of sudden low processing efficacy unnecessarily occurs with only long-used computers. It can be also with recently-bought ones. Therefore, it doesn't relate with how old the computer is, but it's about other various factors such as too much software, insufficient hard drive space or RAM (Random access memory), or defective CPU (Central Processing Unit) or mother board.
Thus, the solutions could be as follows:
1. One problem may be that there are too many programs in the computer, so it may embed in system tray of Windows leading the computer to work slowly. Therefore, uninstalling rarely-used program will create more space and accelerate the processor. The negative aspect of uninstallation is that the users may lose some useful programs.
2. Related with over amount of programs, when the user opens them simultaneously, RAM or hard drive will not have enough capacity to work with. Thus, more hard drives or RAMs may be installed to increase the computer's processing ability. However, some money should have to spend by this solution.
3. One reason that decelerates the effectiveness of the computer may come from the defective pieces of hardware. Therefore, checking existing speed-related hardware such as RAM, hard drive, mother board, CPU fan, or CPU itself is necessary. This solution may require some expertise in hardware components and seems to be slight complicated.
In short, slow processing is not that big deal to find the causes and solutions. From these solutions, we may use a combination of them for a better choice.
